जब-जब मैं बीमार होता,
वो मुझे लाती-ले जाती थी यहाँ

माॅं के प्यार का कभी 
हिस्सा हुआ करता था अस्पताल 

कल यही बेरहम,
मेरी माँ को ले गया!

Blog bogs!

Times keep changing, and so does our attention span, our patience. We are increasingly moving in a world where activity is preferred over thoughts and reflection. We are like busy buzzing bees...looking for quick, instant solutions, instant gratification, instant this and instant that.

This change has been happening over many years - and technology has been the catalyst - long letters flowing into many pages changed into emails, which further changed into chat, SMS and wats app.
You hardly realised when "see you" became cya, "laughing" became lol, when when vowels started disappearing from words. If you now read messages of teens - their English looks like a different language altogether.

In this changing world, as the internet device has almost completely changed from desktops and laptops to mobile phone and tablets, blogs are becoming less relevant as people find it easier to emit their thoughts through twitter, which is short and sexy.

I myself hve been responsible for not being able to contribute to "do paise ki kalam" for long now. While not writing, I have been missing it, for sure. Something is better than nothing - so have joined twitter and find it interesting. Have you joined? If not, try considering. We can remain "more connected" there (hopefully).
